How do you get motivated?

                           Tell me how do you motivate yourself? I get some motivation from cleaning my craft room. I have started crafting again but I can't seem to find the motivation to start blogging again. Sometimes its hard for me to find the words to put into my blog. It's been 4.5 years now since Steve (my fiancé) passed away and I miss him so much, so its had to get back to where I was. When he was here I was blogging a lot. 

                          In April I met someone, he was a friend of a friend, he lived in San Diego but was here visiting for a week. We hit it off and ended up spending the week together but when he went home the following week he was killed. My heart was broken once again but life goes on. 

                         I will be starting a card making series called "Make a card Monday". I know its not to original but I'm hoping it gets me back into blogging and YouTube. I really miss making videos and I seriously miss all my crafty friends. I ordered a long arm phone mount to make it easier to make videos. I can't wait to get it so I can start putting a video out at least once a week. 

                          Please say a prayer for me that I will be able to get back into the swing of things and to stop letting my broken heart run my life.

It's time...

Hello ladies and gents, Most of you that know me know that I've had a really hard time the last 4 years since I lost my fiance. I'm trying to get back into crafting, I'm doing pretty good actually I've been making a lot of cards lately which I'll share on here. I believe it is time to take my life back. On June 9th I'm taking a road trip I'm driving back to Wisconsin and then I'm driving to Michigan where my kids and grand kids live. I leave home on June 9th and I return June 23rd which makes it 2 weeks that I'll be out of Vegas. I can not wait to get on that open road and just go, I need this trip so bad. I think this trip will help me restart Or recharge my life. I haven't seen my family in Wisconsin since 2016 and I have not seen my kids in 2 years or my grandkids. 

I have a 9 month old grandson I haven't met yet and I cannot wait to meet him he is adorable. So hopefully you guys stick with me while I try to restart and reorganise my life and do my crafts again. Although I have been making a lot of cards lately and loving it.

I'll be posting pictures of my cards soon I hope you guys love them.

I want my crafty life back...

 It's been a very hard 3.5 years emotionally for me.

Most of you who know me on social media such as youtube or Facebook, know that I lost the love of my life, Steve, June 15th, 2017.  So I'm sure you know that I have had a really hard time trying to craft again. It has been so hard trying to find my mojo because before losing him I had to craft every day. I also use to make youtube videos, which I really miss. 

In the past few months, I have gotten into making signs and decals. Because of my son, I was able to buy a Cricut Explore Air2 for Mother's Day and I have had so much fun with it. I have also gotten into making resin art pieces and some jewelry. I will put a few photos below. Now I would love to get back into Youtube, I still watch a ton of videos, but I really miss making them.

Abstract Art...

Hello my loves,

I have been doing some abstract art.

As you know I love creating but

I've had a mental block since Steve passed

away. I've been trying so hard to get back

into crafting but most of the time I just

go into my beautiful craft room look around

then go back to the living room. Maybe

its because I am tired, I work a lot and

have no energy to do anything.

I do think I am getting some of my Mojo 

back by painting, I love abstract art.

I like it because everyone sees

 something different when looking at the

paintings. Here are some of my paintings

I want to share with you.

I have sold a few paintings which makes

me so happy that in someone elses

home is my art work.

INSPIRED...(My craft room After)

I hope today finds you happy and in good health.

As some of you know from Facebook I took some time

lately to redo my craft room. I haven't crafted much

in the past two years since Steve passed away and I'm trying

so hard to get past it, but its hard. Now I've got my room

almost finished and instead of shelves all over my

walls filled with products I'm using my sons and my

granddaughters photos as inspiration. I have some supplies

out where they can be seen but most will be in canvas

cubes and in the closet. I cleaned out my closet, I put a lot

of what was in there out in my storage unit, which cleared 

a ton of space for craft storage in my closet.

I am also redoing my other room and making it into

a painting/sewing studio so I don't have to clean up my 

 supplies every time I use them. I will share

photos of that room when I am completely finished

with it. I picked out a very pretty light purple called

Air Castle for the walls. I hope since

it will be a nice clean look it will inspire

 me to paint more often. I want to start doing some

tutorials when I start crafting again. 

(Paint color Lagoon Green, its a light teal)

I am using the smaller wood table top from IKEA

in my craft room now and I am going to use the

large white table top in my paint studio. My friend

John mounted my TV on the wall for me as a space

saver.

 These are the same shelves that I had in here before.

They hold my papers and much more.

 This is a photo of my granddaughters that my son

took in Michigan.

 My son took these photos of nature and I love them

so much. I got the mirrored butterflies at Walmart

and put them around my room. I like how they reflect

around the room when the light hits them.

 My flowers are kept in the same plastic containers

that they have always been in. I picked up a couple

teal containers for some of my dies at IKEA.

 This IKEA wall unit was in my other room but I thought

it would be better used in my craft room.

 I keep my die cutting machine on this small desk and 

when I use it I turn it side ways to the plates can 

run through with no problem. 

I will only have one or two carts out with the items I will

be using often. The others will be in my closet and my paint carts 

will be in my paint studio.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND....

I Don't understand...

By this I mean, "crafting" its always been

a passion of mine and I want to do it,

I even miss doing it. It was my therapy,

my outlet, a way to express myself. After that being said, 

I have one question. 

"WHY CAN'T I GET MOTIVATED TO DO IT"?

I go into my room and look around, and that

is as far as I get. I then turn around and go back into

the living room. Seems like every since Steven

passed away I lost my mojo and can't get it

back. Has this ever happened to you?

And if it did, how did you get back to crafting?

This past week I took most everything out

of my craft room and I am getting ready

to paint and redo my room. It is hard to even get

motivated to paint.

I have so many ideas running through

my mind that I would love to create but that is

easier said than done. Some people don't

understand where I am coming from, to them I say.

"Unless you have walked in someone's shoes

then, of course, you wouldn't understand".

I want to paint and redo my craft room, I know I'll

have to really push my self to finish it but I

will FINISH it, hopefully soon.

I am also painting and redoing my other room, 

which will be my painting studio.

I'll share them when I am done, hopefully, it

won't take me a year to get my butt motivated.
